Introduction:

Today, we’re diving into a creamy delight that will make your taste buds dance: the strawberry milkshake. This classic treat is not just a nostalgic indulgence; it’s also packed with health benefits that might surprise you. Fresh strawberries are bursting with vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber, making them a powerhouse of nutrition. Paired with the goodness of milk—rich in calcium and protein—this milkshake becomes a delightful way to enjoy a sweet treat while nourishing your body. Join me as we blend up a refreshing strawberry milkshake that’s perfect for any occasion, whether you’re cooling off on a hot day or simply craving a flavorful pick-me-up.


Ingredients:

 

           250g of finely sliced strawberries.

 

           1 cup of milk.

 

           2 Sweet vanilla yogurts. Each should be about 125g.

 

           Sugar, based off your taste. 

 

Method: 

 

1.  In a blender, add in all the ingredients and blend them together (The amount of sugar to be added is up to your preferences.)

 

2.  Serve into a tall glass, you can add some slices of strawberry at the top of the glass for extra decoration.


Notes:

  1. The recipe has a serving size of around 2 glasses. This can vary depending on your glass size.
  2. You can substitute the milk and yogurt with 2 cups of orange juice instead if you are lactose intolerant, or simply don't enjoy dairy products!
